Joseph Blotnick
is founder and principal consultant of Team New England. He is a dynamic facilitator and skilled trainer with over 25 years of experience in designing, leading and managing educational and leadership development programs. Joe holds an M.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts and has served as Director of the University of Rhode Island Executive Action Program and on the faculty of The Browne Center for Innovative Learning at the University of New Hampshire. Drawing from his own experience in successfully leading organizations through major change, Joe has inspired and helped thousands of supervisors, managers and executives develop team leadership skills. Joe learned a great deal more about intercultural communication and organizational and leadership development while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer working with a new cacao cooperative in the Dominican Republic.
Jill Higgins, M.Ed.
is a founder and principal of Team New England and a specialist in human development, learning and facilitation of communication that helps leaders and teams to clarify and achieve their goals. She has over 20 years experience as an educator, child and family therapist, trainer and facilitator (see Team New England client list). She especially loves custom-designing exciting interactive programs that use all the learning styles and engage and move all participants. She has a passion for cross-cultural work and, from 2004-2006, designed curriculum and trained teachers in the Dominican Republic as a Peace Corps volunteer.
Mary Lin Hannay
M.L. has been providing customized training and development programs and service to diverse organizations locally and internationally since 1978. She works one on one, coaching individuals, or with large groups--whatever is needed to achieve the unique goals of her clients. Her specialties include customer service, team building, management of change/conflict/communication, and humor in the work place. M.L. is known for her high energy, down-to-earth seminars, her practical approach to improving organizational effectiveness, and her intense commitment to her clients. M.L. received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas and her Masters degree from The University of New Hampshire. She has advanced graduate training in conflict management, negotiations, organizational development, leadership development, and mediation. She is owner and principal of ML Hannay Associates.
Gerri King, Ph.D., CSL
is a social psychologist and nationally recognized keynote speaker and seminar presenter/trainer, facilitator, executive coach, and organizational consultant. Gerri has over 25 years experience in human relations, consults to 125 corporations and speaks at dozens of conferences each year on a wide range of topics including team building, resolving conflicts, motivating workforces, the dynamics of change, working through major initiatives, lifting morale, creating exceptional customer service environments, and leadership in the 21st century. Gerri holds adjunct faculty positions with several colleges and is a founding partner of the 22-year-old Human Dynamics Associates, Inc.
Barbara Wilson
has designed and delivered supervisory and leadership institutes for clients in banking, manufacturing, insurance, health care, and high tech. Prior management roles in the healthcare and financial services industries, as well as significant leadership experience in the nonprofit arena, have provided her a solid foundation for her work. She is a facilitator with the New Hampshire Best Schools Leadership Institute and Leadership Teacher and offers courses through the UNH Division of Continuing Education Partnership for Technology and Management Training. Barbara earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Journalism/Communications and her Master’s degree in Writing from the University of New Hampshire. She has designed and delivered innovative learning programs for UNH Browne Center clients since 1994 and is principal consultant and founder of Acorn Learning and Development.
